Family Feud was one of the most successful television game shows of the 70s. Within one year of its debut in 1977, it went to number one in the ratings.
As great as the original show is, playing the Sandy's Fabulous Feud is a lot more fun than watching it on television. The combination of quick thinking and the ability to guess the most popular answers to goofy survey questions appeals to both kids and adults alike. Stunning graphics on big screen make the experience just like the TV show we have watched all our lives! Questions and answers are shown on the overhead screen.
The questions we use for the Fabulous Feud are just like the ones from the TV show. They range from basic to bizarre but all have that "fun factor" that is evident in all of Sandy Sowell's shows. The answers are ranked for points based on the number of people in a survey of 100 who also gave that same reply to the question.
Two families of four or five members go head-to-head, trying to guess how a polled group of people answered simple questions such as "Name something a dog does to embarrass it's owner" or "Name a celebrity who's named Jerry." If you answer correctly, you'll score points. Wait too long while trying to come up with an answer, and you'll get a big red X. Three X's and your family's turn for that round is over.
In a team-building event, the room can be divided into two teams and groups of new contestants are rotated in to represent the team. Of course we can customize surveyed answers to meet requirements of our clients.
The show includes sound system, lights, backdrop, big screen TV and special draped contestant's stands. Requires 25 x 30 feet of space. Two staff members facilitate this show, including the host of Sandy's Fabulous Feud, Sandy Sowell.
