Are these watches trash or treasure?
Come to Sandy Sowell's Antique SideShow and find out! |
Sandy joins Roger and Steve looking at audience
member's old book collection. |
Sandy Sowell, the host of this fast paced show, facilitates a game involving (in her signature style) audience participation. The item is even displayed on big screen TV so that everyone can see the detail of the item.

| Steve examines the detail of an old teacup while the image is projected on big screen TV for the audience to view. |
Steve takes a closer look at a miniature die cast metal antique stove. |
During the evening, nine items are "featured" from the audience member's heirlooms and audience members get a chance to try their hand at being an antique appraiser! The person in the audience that guesses the closest to our two expert appraisers' estimate of "fair market value" for the item, gets a prize. At the end of the evening, the person who has the most accurate "guesses" wins the BIG prize!
The show includes sound system, lights, backdrop, big screen TV and camera to capture images. Requires 20 x 35 feet of space.

| Sandy picks up an audience member's "guesstimate" during the game portion of the show. This one was the winner!! |
Audience members hold up their slips as they try their hand at being an antique appraiser. |
This is an unusual show because audience members win in several ways! They get a family heirloom appraised, they learn about what makes an item valuable (or not!), and they win prizes as they become amateur appraisers throughout this fun filled 2 hour show.
Works best in an intimate environment so this show is perfect after dinner entertainment at a banquet or conference for up to 75 people.
THE APPRAISERS!
Sandy Sowell's Antique SideShow regularly features these two amazing appraisers. Their "on the spot" appraisals of audience provided heirlooms are amazing and a joy to watch. Their quick wit, personal interaction, stage presence, and knowledge base are an intricate part of what makes this 1-2 hour show so much fun.
